PURBELLO® follows the concept of a homemade meal for dogs and is manufactured in Germany. It is designed as a natural food product. Due to the naturalness of the product, we do not use formed meat, meat meal, meat paste, or pre-treated animal products (e.g., artificially defatted meat) in its manufacture.
Wherever possible, our production sources its raw materials from regional suppliers, thereby avoiding long transport routes.
All animal production and processing facilities are subject to official veterinary inspections to ensure compliance with applicable animal welfare laws.
Our PURBELLO® dog rolls are produced semi-manually. The ingredients are minced and mixed using machines, and the "sausage meat" is stuffed into the artificial casing by hand, just like at the butcher's. The PURBELLO® dog rolls are then heated to 95°C. This reliably kills germs and also prevents the formation of botulinum bacteria, for example.
The packaging used for PURBELLO® consists of several layers of thin plastic. This is more recyclable than aluminum packaging, for example, but has a different effect on the dimensional stability. Natural moisture loss causes small wrinkles to form on the sausages. This does not indicate a loss of quality, but is a completely natural process.
Yes, it is a popular premium complete food for dogs. It provides our adult four-legged friends with all the nutrients they need.
The firm consistency makes our dog roll a real all-rounder in everyday dog life: PURBELLO® can be mashed with a fork to make wet food, served as a sausage slice for a snack between meals, or cut into cubes and used as a treat for on the go. The cubes are also ideal for hiding medication!
Yes, the seven grain-free varieties contain only one source of animal protein (making them monoprotein) and are also ideal for dogs with sensitive digestive systems.
All varieties have a very high content of 90% fresh meat and offal.
